摘要

提出识别剪切位点的分组权重矩阵方法.分组权重矩阵是一个子总体数未知的混合权重矩阵模型.
为得到未知参数的极大似然估计,采用了EM方法,而子总体数是利用隙统计量确定的.作者给出了该方法的具体计算步骤.将该方法应用于人类和水稻基因组的供子和受子识别,并与现行的主要方法作了比较.结果表明,分组权重矩阵法的识别效果更为精确.

Abstract

In this paper, grouped weight matrix (GWM) method is proposed for splice site recognition. The GWM model for splice signals is a mixture of weight matrix models (WMM) with unknown number of components. For computation of the unknown parameters' MLE, the EM method is applied; and the number of components is determined by using the gap statistics. The algorithm for the whole procedure is given. The GWM procedure is applied to donor and acceptor recognition of human and rice genome, and compared with the commonly applied methods. The results show that the GWM provides higher accuracy.
