In this paper, we introduce the tool of excess demand function (single-valued and set-valued cases), and study the generic stability and essential components of the price point set of general economic equilibrium. We have proved that most of the price point set of general economic equilibrium are generic stability in the sense of Baire category, and there exists at least one essential component.
