Generally, perishable agricultural products or their
processed goods need to be stored in the refrigeration house for a
long time preservation. Suppose that a retailer sells this kind of
single goods in two stages, she takes a certain amount to sell in
the first stage, then stores the rest for sale in the
second stage. Based on the behavior of strategic customers, some optimal decision
for the retailer are characterizes as follows: The optimal order quantity for the
retailer before the selling season, the optimal quantity of goods for sale in the
first state, the optimal price in the two selling stages. In addition,
the probability that the customer can buy goods in the second stage is presented given the retailer's decisions.
