The strength of building foundation in seasonally frozen
area directly affects the stability of the entire stadium building,
and the permafrost temperature is an important factor affecting the
permafrost strength. We briefly introduced the mathematical model
of the unsteady temperature field of the stadium building foundation
in seasonal frozen soil region, established a generalized difference
scheme, and analyzed the error estimates of the fully discrete
generalized difference solutions. Finally, a numerical example of
permafrost temperature in the northwest of Sichuan province was given
to calculate the temperature variation of the building foundation under
the influence of surface temperature. Numerical results verified the
effectiveness of our numerical method, and the research has a certain
guiding significance for the foundation pit depth of the building in the frozen soil area.
